My Genting trip~

My Genting trip~

Hello!im back!woohoo!Haven had so much fun in such a long time!!hee~ I went to Genting with my sec sch buddies, amy and irene. It sth that we planned since sec 4 and finally fulfilled our dream of travelling tog!

When we reached resort Hotel, to our frustration, we had to wait 3 hours to check in! There were jus too many ppl at the lobby waiting to check in too! we rarely see how age ppl at Genting, mostly are grandpa and grandmas frm msia, indonesia, & middle east ppl! Apparently, there was a middle eastern fair to attract them so when we go round, we saw lots of muslims in full black, only seeing their eyes! Amy tot it was quite scary cos we don recognise who is who & all look the same, all wrapped in black! I even saw one lady that had a black cloth that covered her eyes too! *cultural shock*

1st night, we played arcade games..frm car racing to gun shooting to memory games to photo hunt to para para! hahaz..we spent alot on that alone. Then we played pool too..amy n irene tot me how to play & God helped me too..cos i din wanna look like the lousiest, i was able to aim well n the balls went into the hole. I tot i was not bad..hee..beginner's luck? =D

2nd day, it looked like it was gg to rain. Amy said, ' How? maybe we jus play indoors?' I replied,'I will pray and ask GOd to bring out the sunshine so that we can play all the outdoor games!' Sure enough, God wanted Amy to see His power thru this small incident. The sunshine came out..And it started to get misty n drizzling onli after we played finish the last game in the outdoor theme park! cool rite? God held the rain jus for us! I commented to them 'see? God answered my prayer! Amazing isn it?' They jus smiled..

Big Drop
We went twice. We were transported upwards,750m high into the sky. We would be dropped to the middle of the big drop, go up again, then drop all the way down to the bottom at the speed of light! 3 of us were already screaming when we were transported up! hahaz.. the 2nd time was even scarier cos the sky was super misty & we couldn see a single thing when we were up there except the mist!

Corkscrew
Its a super duper roller coaster ride! I screamed and screamed til no voice! haha.. the whole roller coaster would go upside down and turn here and there! i think i even cover..ed irene's screams/ laughters! haha..

Spinner
Its like a merry go round with swings on it. And the whole thing will go round and round, the swing will lift u in the air and its very cooling feeling! Amy din join us cos she got motion sickness. So onli me and irene..and loads of kids! haha..the kids were screaming but both of us were laughing! Cos its nothing compared to corkscrew!

We played everything except the haunted house..cos i don wanna scare myself. =D The food there was terrible!expensive and not nice to eat. The best meal was at Kenny Rogers. Initially the muffin was cold so i asked them to heat it up. I think he din get what i mean, so he exchanged new ones for me! then my dinner came with a fly on top! i pointed to him, and he gave me a new plate! Amy's spagetthi was super salty and she din eat much. Best of all, they din count correctly, excluded amy's order! so we paid little for much. I asked irene and amy, y not we pay since they din include, but they jus walk away frm the restaurnt. irene came out with this idea tat they din charge us cos we din eat much frm the spagetthi plate.

Our last nite was spent on arcade once again and pool!hahaz...we jus got addicted to it. and lots of chit chat..catching up with one another and laughther! we took lots of pictures! we jus love candid shots! =D and pillow fights too! Im glad that by God's grace, i stood firm in what i believed. They wanted to go to casino and also buy alchohol to drink at hotel. I said no, i din want to..and i choose not to. So in the end, we jus went to walk around the casino and see how it looks like. (super smelly...everyone was smoking!cough cough) i did prayer walk there. Asked God to forgive these ppl of their sins, of their greed. It was so sad to see signs in the casino like EASY RICHES and KING's RANSOM. And thank God, both of them din manage to find alcohol to buy!I don think i would be able to take care of them if they really got drunk!

All in all i truly enjoyed myself there..it was like a retreat for myself with the Lord and my 2 best frens! hee~ Guess where we will be gg next yr? HOngKong!! yeah!!
