The Island~

The Island~
Yday was an exciting day! I went to NUS for medical checkup in the am with Diana. I tot we were quite early cos we met at 9plus. But daniel was earlier than me! when we reached sch, he boarded the bus to go home le! so fast rite? hahaz.. After medical checkup, Diana and I went gai gai.. I still find it amazing how God brought me to know this fren n we can really click. Our first outing..we went to watch The Island!! glad to noe that she is a movie goer too!yeah!

I haven been to shaw cinema for so long, so the size of the cinema suprised me!super huge lor! like four times bigger than the super small Yishun Ten GV. haha..anyway, the show was nice. About cloning..sound effects was great. When it was loud, could feel the vibration too! haha..shall not say more, later someone say my blog is dangerous! =D

I went to the SWOTS (social work n psychology dept) BBQ @ East Coast Park after that. I really din noe anyone except Diana cos i din go for the camp. But i decided to go so can noe more friends. It was fun to get to interect with seniors and other freshies..most of them are in psychology..onli me, diana and elaine gg to social work. Michelle taking political science (cheem!) Then there was this really outspoken guy, Alvin..very crappy de.. keep calling me princess cos i was wearing my V.I.P shirt..then ask me to help him cook la, start fire la and kept suaning me cos i din go for the fac camp! hahaz.. Oh ya, met a few christians too.. =D i kinda persuaded them to join crusade cos they were still choosing btw crusade n VCF. =D Really hope to get to noe them better!

After the bbq, i had one fear..almost all of them are frm JC. I mean, girls my age are already in yr3 le.. and im from poly. Alvin said that there were 2 frens he knew that were frm poly and dropped out already. Is it really tat tough? im scared.. i really got to put in my best to what God has blessed me with! and i noe that if He places me there, He wil bring me thru it. I want to graduate frm NUS aft 3 or 4 years , look back and say 'who says poly students can't do it? God is my dependance thru this 3 or 4 years!'

Tots on my mind - should i do one major or double major? social work only or together with pshychology? This weekend, esp and cg..pray for fruitful time of seeking the Lord together!
