My Daddy~

My Daddy~

I was actually suspposed to go to Cameron Highlands the day aft retreat. But to my surprise and shock, Daddy was admitted to hospital on Sunday, so the trip was cancelled. A bit regret tt I din call back to say hi when i was at the retreat.

Daddy had severe back pain which affected the nerves in e right leg all the way down to the foot. Doc said tt it was high chance of slip disc and had to be admitted for observation. I could feel the pain as I see Daddy using the wheelchair to go to toilet frm his bed cos in my eyes, Daddy is very strong and walks fast too! Every nite, he would request for injection cos w/o it, he couln get to sleep due to the pain. So, everyday w/o fail, me, ma and Jo would make our 1hr15min journey down to Alexandra to visit Daddy and jus spend our whole day there to accompany him. We would leave aft 8pm to catch the last shuttle bus.

PTL! Daddy was discharged yday and all thanks to fervent prayer! Daddy's church and my church frens prayed continously for his recovery tt there woulnd need to be any need for injection on wed nite so tt he could be discharged on thurs. =D Prayer works miracles! Jesus is Jehovah Rapha! Now, he walks slower but the pain is not as hurting as b4. What he needs is regular checkup w the doc and phsio-theraphy.

Lessons learnt from the Lord:
Daddy - God wants him to endure pain and never question God's wisdom.

Family - Always trust in God no matter what happens. Cont to unite as a family to support Daddy to go thru everything together in love!

Tml is UFO day cum steamboat nite!! Looking forward to it! =D
