Prayer for the Overseers..

Prayer for the Overseers..
Don't look ard..its u..yes u!You are an overseer..an overseer of what God has entrusted to you.Here is what the scripture says in Titus 1:7-9

"7Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless–not overbearing, not quicktempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. 8Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is selfcontrolled, upright, holy and disciplined. 9He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. "

I want to narrow my target audience down to brothers & sisters who have a flock or a folllow-uppie or a mentee entrusted to them. Here's my prayer for you:

Lord Jesus, Thank you for entrusting a flock/a sheep to my brothers & sisters. Thank you for assuring them time and again that in their weaknesses, your strength will be made perfect. I pray that as they serve you, u will find them faithful & blameless in what they are doing. Mould them to be hospitable, to love good, to be self controlled, upright, holy and disciplined in all that they do. If there are times that they are quick tempered, violent or pursuing dishonest gain, Lord have mercy on them. Help them to deliver your word trustworthyly so that they will be able to encourage others & refute those who oppose it. Continue to give them strength, patience & passion for the flock entrusted to them. I commit my brothers & sisters & myself into your hands, in Jesus name, Amen!
