Reflections..

Cheryl sent me an email article which encouraged my heart this morning..=) Its taken frm Isa 54:5 "For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name."
When u see the word husband, sisters who are single would u think that this verse is quoted for those of us without a spouse, a desire to be married someday rite? =)
The quoters mean to be encouraging. It offers a needed reminder that God is always with us; he's a relationship constant in a world of frequent moves, shifting friendships, painful heartbreaks. And he offers not jus any relationship, but intimate relationship. God desires the kind of close interaction with us that sparks comparison to that of a husband and wife. He's not distant, cold, ambivalent God; he's an up-close, hands-on, hows-your-day,cares-about-the-details kind of God.
What wonderful truths to embrace!
